This is a personal film I made about my family who live in the south of France. Every year they rear a couple of pigs on their vegetable farm before killing them privately on the land. The whole family then spends four days making and preparing all the cuts, pates, sausages etc, using every single part of the pig. From two pigs they produce the vast majority of the family's meat intake for the year. The laws in France are changing so that it's no longer legal to privately slaughter your animals on your land, yet the process is by far the most humane and stress-free for the animals.
